Union Films has released their line up for their upcoming Autumn season.

The line-up for the Autumn term includes notable big blockbusters including the likes of Guardians Of The Galaxy, How To Train Your Dragon 2, X-Men: Days of Future Past and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes in addition to the usual variety of different film genres.

Further details of the Freshers’ events were also revealed with two free films of Bad Neighbors and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 to take place on Tuesday 23rd September.

The cinema also released details of their famous Movie Marathon events for the autumn term – an X-Men marathon on the 12th October, a Toy Story trilogy on the 22nd November and the return of The Halloween All-Nighter on the 1st November – although audiences will have to wait for more accurate details.

The details were released in response to their Facebook page receiving over 3,000 likes as a thank you to their followers. They also launched their new Premiere Passes offering free entry into their films, as well as discounted refreshments and tickets for special events. Audiences are being given the chance to win an Autumn Premiere Pass by liking and sharing a photo on their page with a winner being selected on Friday 12th September.

The cinema, located on the main Highfield Campus, is entirely run by student volunteers and has seen change this year in the form of a revamped brand and a new look to Bar Three outside the entrance.
