The Norwegian duo, Nico & Vinz, have reached number one with their single ‘Am I Wrong’, making it Norway’s first UK number one since A-ha in 1986. The single climbs a massive 51 places, resulting in last week’s number one ‘Rude’ dropping down to second place.

Elsewhere in the chart, OneRepublic enter the top ten in third place with their latest single ‘Love Runs Out’. Cheryl, George Ezra, Ella Henderson, ZHU, Ariana Grande, Charli XCX and will.i.am & Cody Wise fill the rest of the top ten.

Outside this week’s top ten, Jessie Ware is the only other new entry with her new single ‘Tough Love’ in 34th place, which is taken from her upcoming second album. The single chart’s biggest climb is awarded to this week’s number one, with the biggest tumble being Bars and Melody’s ‘Hopeful’ which falls 26 places in its second week in the chart.

In this week’s album chart, Ed Sheeran continues holding on to his number one spot for an astounding seventh week. Dolly Parton, Sam Smith, Coldplay, George Ezra, Paolo Nutini and Eric Clapton & Friends remain in the top ten, with Paloma Faith and Ellie Goulding climbing five and six places respectively to enter the prestigious top quarter of the UK top 40.

Charlie Simpson is our highest new entry with his second studio album, Long Road Home, debuting in tenth position. Close behind is Pixie Lott’s self-titled third album in 15th spot, an improvement to her last album’s chart performance despite her most recent single, ‘Lay Me Down’ only reaching 114th position in the UK singles chart last week. MAGIC!, who grabbed their first UK number one last week with their single ‘Rude’, enter the chart with their debut album, Don’t Kill The Magic at 19.
