Peaches Geldof has been found dead, aged 25.

Kent Police announced that they were called to an address on Monday afternoon at 13:35 following concerns for the welfare of a 25 year old woman, with South East Coast Ambulance Service pronouncing her dead shortly after.

“At this stage, the death is being treated as an unexplained and sudden,” said a statement from Kent Police.

Born in 1989, Geldof has had a career writing columns for various magazines and newspapers, later becoming a model, and launching her own television show, OMG! with Peaches Geldof on ITV2 in 2011.

She had two sons, Astala and Phaedra, with husband Thomas Cohen from the band S.C.U.M. In a statement issued this evening, Cohen said “My beloved wife Peaches was adored by myself and her two sons.

“I shall bring them up with their mother in their hearts everyday. We shall love her forever.”

Peaches Honeyblossom Geldof was the second daughter of Bob Geldof, lead singer of Boomtown Rats, and British TV presenter Paula Yates, who died in 2000.

Her father confirmed his daughter’s death saying “She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us… What a beautiful child. How is this possible that we will not see her again? How is that bearable?”
