Surge at Shade 2012

This Saturday, Surge Radio went to Glen Eyre’s SHADE festival, playing music between the live acts to spice up the atmosphere. Billed as ‘Southampton’s Hottest One Day Event’, the whole event basked in the glory of one of the sunniest days of the year. The halls were transformed with live acts and DJs, such as Freefall and Triassic, playing the main stage all afternoon and freshers doing battle against each-other on an amazing inflatable Volleyball and Table football pitch.

Throughout the day, Surge DJs were out and about taking requests from the audience and speaking to the crowds who were incredibly excited about Rudimental’s performance during the evening. More so than seeing Surge Station Manager David Gilani being beaten in the Surge DJs soundclash. Here is what the crowd had to say:
