For those of you wanting to spend your Valentines Day with a some awesome television, then Netflix has it covered. All 13 episodes of House of Cards season 2 are now available exclusively on Netflix as of 8.01am this morning.

While some Netflix subscribers are trying to figure out whether they can squeeze in a quick fix before heading to work,  Kevin Spacey has said fans are ‘really digging’ Netflix’s decision to release the political drama’s second series in one go.

He told Digital Spy: ‘We didn’t start bingeing but I think we are of course the first series that’s ever given away entire seasons at one time, and I think it goes to say how much an audience is really digging being in control and being able to treat a series the way they treat a novel; pick it up when they want to pick it up and put it down when they want to put it down.’

For those in America, the second series will begin streaming on Netflix 03.01am ET.
