FX orders American Crime Story


It has been revealed that FX is adding American Crime Story to their line-up, which is planned to be another Ryan Murphy-created anthology series and a companion series to the globally successful American Horror Story.

The network has provided a ten episode straight-to-series to American Crime Story, which is to follow the same structure as American Horror Story in the sense that it will cover a totally different crime story each season with a revamped cast.

The show, which began initially as a limited event series over on Fox, is to be based on The Run of His Life: The People v. O.J. Simpson by Jeffrey Toobin, where the series will explore the O.J. Simpson trial from the view of the lawyers.

Production and airing dates are unknown at this time.

American Horror StoryAmerican Crime Story‘s companion series, is set to air its latest series in the US this evening (8th October), which is entitled Freak Show. The series stars the likes of Jessica Lange, Kathy Bates and Sarah Paulson.
