A new Game of Thrones trailer has been released.
The HBO adventure-drama series’ new trailer begins with the character of Arya listing characters such as Joffrey, Cersei and The Red Woman because she “can’t sleep until she says the names”. This eerie, reticent beginning is followed by shots of many of the characters that make up the conflicting families at war, as well as a new face.
The questionable pop-rock track for the trailer gradually reaches a crescendo to contribute the threatening and reflective statements of the protagonists and antagonists of the hit series. We are then left with the announcement that: “All men must die”. A powerful but believable remark after the catastrophic event of The Red Wedding last season.
The new trailer comes after Game of Thrones Season 4: Ice and Fire: A Foreshadowing, which featured exclusive clips from the upcoming season, as well as interviews and comments from cast members and all those involved in creating the highly-anticipated series four.
The upcoming series of Game of Thrones is due to air on 7th April at 9pm on Sky Atlantic. Watch the brand new trailer below.
