The Mighty Boosh to reform

The Mighty Boosh have announced that they are to reform.

The double act of Noel Fielding and Julian Barratt have been away for four years; but have now announced they’re going to be touring in the new year, and even have plans for a film!

The duo have been relatively quiet since 2009 when their Future Sailors tour finished, with the last series of the television series being broadcast in 2007. The duo returned to the stage after four years away, performing first in the Soho Theatre London (for two warm-up gigs) and then at Jack Black’s Festival Supreme. At the time of these gigs the duo said there were no plans for anything more serious; but now a tour and a film could be in the pipe-line.

Noel Fielding told the Mail on Sunday “We’re going on tour early in the new year”. Fans will also be excited to hear that a film may be in the works, with Barratt telling the publication: “We’ll be working on material that hopefully could make a movie. We want to make something great for the fans.”
