This evening saw the Curtain Call award winners – the Daily Echo’s award ceremony for the best in amateur dramatics in the Southampton area. SUSU’s Performing Arts was nominated a whopping 15 times.
Here are the results:
Best Supporting Actress in a Musical – Stephanie Amies (SUSU Showstoppers’ Spring Awakening)
Best Musical Director – Daniella Gambier and Alex Clements (SUSU Showstoppers’ Spring Awakening)

We would like to say a massive well done to everyone that won and also a show that pipped us to the post many a time was Musical Directed by our own Stephanie Amies so we were pleased it was a show some of us had been to see and very much enjoyed!
