This year, The Forty Pound Theatre Company’s Christmas charity pantomime will be a production of Moliere’s classic comedy Tartuffe.
For this performance, Forty Pound have adapted the greatly controversial 17th Century play in a manner that emphasises the original’s combination of comedic and satirical power to a modern audience, and all in their recognisable pantomime style. Also, free music will follow the show, so be sure not to miss out!
The pantomime will be showing at The Bent Brief, near Tesco Express, from the 11th to the 15th of December, and all money raised by ticket sales will be going towards The Multiple Sclerosis Society, Women’s Aid, and Brendoncare.
Tickets are £4 in advance and £5 on the door. They can either be bought at The Bent Brief or purchased by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
