It has been revealed that Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga’s album Cheek to Cheek has topped the Billboard chart.

Cheek to Cheek marks Lady Gaga’s third number one album in the US, after both ARTPOP and Born This Way. It is Bennett’s second number one album in the US, following from 2011’s Duets II, which featured a collaboration with Gaga as well as the likes of Amy Winehouse.

The revelation means that Bennett holds the record for the oldest artist to top the Billboard charts.

The album also topped the Jazz albums chart and the Traditional Jazz album charts.

The jazz record has spawned the singles ‘Anything Goes’ and ‘I Can’t Give You Anything But Love’, whilst also featuring renditions of ‘Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down)’ and ‘Let’s Face the Music and Dance’.
