Meanwhile, Maroon 5’s latest single ‘Maps’ debuts in second place. The single features on the band’s recent album V, which also includes ‘Animals’ and a collaboration with Gwen Stefani titled ‘My Heart is Open’ co-written by singer-songwriter Sia.

Following its recent release, Sam Smith’s ‘I’m Not The Only One’ has climbed eight places putting it in the top 10. The single is accompanied by a video featuring Glee‘s Dianna Agron and The Mindy Project’s Chris Messina which portrays the song’s theme of infidelity.

Compilation album The Whole Story and Hounds of Love are in the top 10, along with her debut album The Kick Inside which sits in 24th place. The news follows the successful start to her Before The Dawn live shows; her first in over 35 years.

Elsewhere in the albums chart, Ariana Grande’s highly-anticipated second album My Everything debuts in third place. Britain’s Got Talent‘s winner Collabro, have been knocked down three places with their album Stars, sitting comfortably in the top 5.
