Virginia Beach native Pharrell Williams has shared his first single since last year’s massive record G I R L.
‘Freedom’ was premiered on the Beats 1 radio show – Zane Lowe’s new venture in his partnership with Apple Music.
The official video for the track is an exclusive on Apple Music whilst a stream of it is now available on the BBC Radio 1 website after the song was featured by Annie Mac on her show last night.
The musician and producer was nominated for an Oscar at the 2014 Academy Awards for his song ‘Happy’, which featured on the Despicable Me 2 soundtrack. He also enjoyed great success for his collaborations with Daft Punk and Robin Thicke.
