Jonathan Ross is set to help American drag superstar Ru Paul Charles in the last leg of her nationwide search for the UK’s first ever Drag Race ambassador.

The 54 year-old chat show host will join Ru Paul and model Katie Price for tomorrow’s live final (28th May), which is being held in a secret London location.

The event, which is to be hosted by comedienne Amy Lamé, will see some of the UK’s most fabulous and enthusiastic drag queens take to the stage and lipsync for the title of Drag Race ambassador.

The winner will be the star of a series of exclusive vlogs for TruTV – the new home of Ru Paul’s infamous Drag Race series in the UK. The vlogs will accompany the broadcaster’s debut screening of the show’s fourth season. In the US, the series – which attempts to find America’s next drag superstar through the wackiest of challenges –  is currently in it’s eighth season, but this is the first time the show will be available to watch for free on television in the UK. The UK Drag Race ambassador will also win an all-expenses paid trip to LA and get to go behind the scenes of the eighth season.

Ross is a self-confessed fan of the show and has been working on producing a UK version of the show since last year.

Ru Paul’s Drag Race: Season Four will debut 1st June on Tru TV: Freeview 68, Sky 198 and FreeSat 154.
