The Vaccines unveil new track ‘Melody Calling’

Zane Lowe has premiered a brand new track from The Vaccines titled ‘Melody Calling’.

The exclusive new song was played on his BBC Radio 1 show as his ‘Hottest Record in the World’, and is now available to stream through NME.

Distinctly different to the sound previously heard on What Did You Expect From The Vaccines, it is a far cry from the thrashing guitars of the fast-paced ‘Wreckin’ Bar (Ra Ra Ra)’. Instead ‘Melody Calling’ exhibits a milder, calmer sound, very different to early material. It’s minimal yet powerful and shows promise for the future.

The track was recorded at Eldorado Studios in Burbank, L.A. with producers John Hill (Rihanna) and Rich Costey (Muse).

The Vaccines are set to perform at Glastonbury Festival on Friday.
