In their last UK performance of 2014, Montreal based Arcade Fire are set to headline London’s Hyde Park as part of Barclaycard’s British Summertime. They will be sharing the event with support from Jake Bugg, Wild BeastsBand of Skulls and Future Islands.

Just last week Arcade Fire gave what was undoubtedly the biggest performance of their Reflektor tour following the release of their fourth album of the same name in October 2013, after their ever-successful album The Suburbs in 2010. The band headlined Glastonbury Festival with an outstanding performance, complete with stunning visuals and the return of the Reflektor man- who fans will have witnessed if they attended the band’s two sold out shows at London’s Earls Court in June this year.

In an unusual turn of events, at the hands of leaked staff tickets by Barclays that spread like wildfire across social media, some fans were lucky enough to land themselves tickets for the show for just £2.50. It was announced afterwards that all tickets will be honoured for the day.

With a capacity of around 65,000, here’s hoping that Arcade Fire can replicate the amazing atmosphere present at Glastonbury, and finish their Reflektor tour on a high.
