The Nashville brothers are returning to Isle of Wight following their highly successful 2011 set on the island’s main stage. Their appearance at the festival will be their first since their hiatus, prior to the release of their 2013 album Mechanical Bull. The Sunday headline slot is well suited to the band’s relaxed Southern rock sound, ending the festival on a mellow and serene note. The stadium fillers will no doubt have the entire crowd off its feet, regardless of the weariness and sunburn each festival-goer should be experiencing.

The four piece is comprised of brothers Caleb Followill (lead vocals and rhythm guitar), Nathan Followill (drums), Jared Followill (bass), and their cousin Matthew Followill (lead guitar). The band have experienced success from the very beginning of their careers, receiving numerous music awards, achieving a multitude of platinum certifications, and earning millions of sales worldwide. They even have a documentary centred around their lives, called Talihina Sky. The band’s set at Isle of Wight will doubtless be an epic performance, including an entire range of their most popular discography
