Internationally renowned DJ, Calvin Harris, headlines an island festival that is far from his normal, exotic destinations. His performance history ranges from the Los Angeles Staples Centre, to Las Vegas’ own MGM Grand nightclub, and even performing as part of the post-race concert at the Bahrain Grand Prix. The tiny Isle of Wight will await his performance with fevered anticipation, hoping to enjoy a wide range of his numerous chart topping anthems, and that he doesn’t notice the less than tropical destination in which he is performing.

Originally names Adam Wiles at birth, the Scottish DJ, singer-songwriter, and producer is the owner of Fly Eye Records, holds the record for the most top ten hits from one studio album on the UK Singles Charts, and was the highest paid DJ of 2013, earning over $46 million. His 2007 debut album I Created Disco reached gold. His second album reached number one in the UK album chart. His 2012 album ’18 Months’ had 9 singles which reached the UK Top 10. Harris has also written and produced tracks for a limitless range of artists, from Kylie Minogue to Dizzee Rascal. As a recognisable name and face all over the world, and with so much evidence to prove his talent and his worth, it is easy to categorise Harris as a mega-star, and at age 30 he still has plenty of hit-making years ahead of him.
