Latitude Festival announces 2014 arts and music arena line-ups

Several of the acts who will perform at the arts and music arenas at this years Latitude Festival have been revealed.

Acclaimed Scottish comedian Kevin Bridges heads up the comedy line-up, while dance performances in The Waterfront Stage will include the world-famous Sadler’s Wells production of Ballet Revolución.

On the theatre front, the headline show will be Errollyn Wallen Company’s Cautionary Tales, with Marcus du Sautoy OBE appearing in the poetry arena. The literary arena will feature authors and journalists such as Laurie Penny, Shami Chakrabarti, Suzi Feay and Tanya Byron

Further musical acts have also been revealed, joining the likes of Two Door Cinema Club, Damon Albarn, and The Black Keys who will headline the festival. Chrissie Hynde is the big name added to the Obelisk Arena, while a handsome line-up has been revealed for The Alcove stage including Elliphant, Ady Suleiman, Solomon Grey and Years & Years. Acts such as Hollie Cook and Summer Camp will also perform in the film and music arena.

Latitude Festival will take place from 17th-20th July 2014, with both day and weekend tickets on sale now.
