Koei Tecmo Europe announces Samurai Warriors 4 UK release

Koei Tecmo Europe is elated to announce to fans that the tactical action game Samurai Warriors 4 will launch this Friday 24th October 2014, for the Playstation 4 and Playstation 3  and Ps®vita system.

Samurai Warriors 4 pays tribute to a decade of the tactical action warriors brand that has sold over 34 million units worldwide with a new chapter of the warring states saga and the franchise’s first-ever appearance on new generation systems with its release on Playstation 4. Koei Tecmo Europe say that the ever-evolving series offers an entirely new Samurai Warriors experience with an abundance of new content and upgrades including devastating attacks and numerous gameplay and story modes in stunning HD resolutions.

Hisashi Koinuma, producer for Samurai Warriors 4 said: “With every new instalment, we strive to bring great advances to the series, making it even more immersive and exciting for players… We are so thankful for the devoted supporters who have waited four years for Samurai Warriors 4. Samurai Warriors 4 offers an impressive roster of 55 playable characters including new warriors and returning favourites which have received major graphical upgrades and rearranged battle moves. Eradicating the enemy ranks is more thrilling than ever with new manoeuvres including hyper attacks which allow for rapid movement on the battlefield, a powerful rage attack and deadly finishing moves with mighty strikes.

Conceived to honour the dedicated players of the series, the Samurai Warriors 4: Special Anime Pack, exclusively for the Playstation 4, treats fans to a treasure trove of must-have samurai warriors content including the Samurai Warriors: Legend of Sanada Anime, the official game soundtrack and several DLC packs housed in commemorative 10th anniversary collector’s edition packaging.
