Golden Globes 2014: The winners and losers

0

Here at The Edge we’ve decided to give you coverage of the 71st Annual Golden Globes. Tonight, come awards time the article will be live updated with the winners, losers, and the goings on of the annual awards, so whether you’re pulling an all night revision session, or getting up in the morning wanting to know what happened, this is the place to look!

Highlights of the night included Tina Fey and Amy Poheler’s opening monologue, Jennifer Lawrence’s excited acceptance speech, Brian Cranston referring to Breaking Bad’s ‘Mirth and Merriment’, Aaron Paul saying ‘Yeah Bitch!’ in response to Breaking Bad’s win, and winners taking absolutely ages to get to their seats. A weird anecdote about a boat party to start the acceptance speech for best score, Robert Downey Junior’s presentation speech, Amy Poehler as ‘Mr Golden Globes’ and Jim Carrey’s Shia LaBoeuf jibe.

The show was presented by Tina Fey and Amy Poheler, and as always, the Golden Globes opens with a monologue by the two time presenters.
